Why Briel

Engineered in Braga.

Every claim traces back to a real part, a real process or a real person. Our espresso machines are engineered and built in Braga, Portugal — and here is the proof.

Espresso machines engineered in-house

A stainless-steel boiler holds the temperature steady, and our own cremaker filter builds a dense crema. Both designed and made by our engineers — not bought from a catalogue.

Over 60% made in Portugal

Every Briel machine is built in Braga by our own engineers, technicians and artisans. Most parts are manufactured locally, in the same factory.

Repairable, not disposable

Every part has a replacement and technical support is our own team. A Briel is made to be opened, repaired and kept for decades.

Sustainable because it lasts

Renewable energy in production, packaging designed for minimum waste, and no capsules to throw away. The most sustainable machine is the one you don't buy twice.
