Briel started in Porto in 1978 making toys and appliances. By 1990 it made nothing but espresso machines.

Made, not assembled.
We draw the boiler, cut the cremaker filter and test the machine ourselves — over 60% of it made in Braga. Every part has a replacement, so a Briel is repaired, not replaced.
